James Stone

Jamie Stone is Global Head of Product Development and Director of ESG Research at Baron Capital, where he oversees the Firm’s product strategy and market expansion and leads the integration of ESG considerations into the investment research process. He previously served as a Portfolio Manager, after joining the Firm in 2009 as a Research Analyst specializing in energy, and has 38 years of research experience. Earlier in his career, Jamie was a principal and director of research at Cambridge Investments. Before that, he was a managing director and senior analyst at UBS Securities, a managing director and senior research analyst at Schroder & Co., and a senior research analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Jamie earned his BA in English Literature from the University of Michigan. A passionate Wolverines fan, he lives in Westchester County, New York, with his wife and has three grown children.
