Supporting Students for the School Year Ahead
Giving back through volunteer activities is an important part of Baron Capital’s culture, providing employees with opportunities to contribute their time to community organizations and initiatives.
One example is our annual Back-to-School Drive. Baron Capital employees recently volunteered at P.S. 63 Author's Academy in the Bronx, to provide new backpacks for students during the 2026-27 school year. For many of the students, it was the first time they had received a new backpack of their own. One student described the day as “the best day of my whole entire life,” adding, “I’m going to work extra hard in third grade now that I finally have my own backpack.”
A moment like this is a powerful reminder that something as simple as a backpack can provide more than a way to carry school supplies. It can also help a student begin the year with confidence, excitement, and a sense of belonging.
