Baron Capital is committed to making our event accessible to all audiences. The principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility apply to all aspects of The Baron Investment Conference for all individuals. Accommodations can be requested by filling out the accessibility section in our online registration form. Click here for MET accessibility information.
The accessible entrance and exit is located on the Concourse level (Founders Hall) and provides elevator access to all seating areas.
There is an accessible telephone and ladies' rest room in Founders Hall. There are also accessible gentlemen’s and ladies’ rest rooms on the Parterre, Grand Tier, and Dress Circle levels. For information on parking in the yellow accessible section reserved through Lincoln Center parking, please call (212) 721-6500. The entrance for this section is on Amsterdam Avenue and 63rd Street or Amsterdam Avenue and 64th Street.
PLEASE NOTE ALL ATTENDEES MUST ENTER THROUGH THE DAVID GEFFEN HALL LOBBY WHEN THEY FIRST ARRIVE TO RECEIVE THEIR CONFERENCE BADGE.
David Geffen Hall Accessible Entry: Accessible through automated doors from the Josie Robertson Plaza, via the accessible ramp on the corner of West 65th Street and Columbus Avenue and from the accessible parking area in the Lincoln Center Park-and-Lock Garage. Elevators on the concourse level, located to the left of the Cork Gallery from the West 65th Street entrance to the garage, provide access to the David Geffen Hall Box Office, Josie Robertson Plaza, and all levels of the concert hall. Security guards are posted in the area and available to assist guests.
The Metropolitan Opera House: Telephone (212) 799-3100, Ext. 2204. Wheelchair accessible routes to the auditorium are accessible from the concourse level only, via the drop-off location. From the concourse, enter the hall through glass doors to access the elevator to the orchestra level.
David H. Koch Theater Accessible Entry: Elevators are available from the Josie Robertson Plaza-level entrance to all tiers of the theater.
Alice Tully Hall Accessible Entry: Elevator and escalator from street level to plaza level, located on the north side of West 65th Street near Amsterdam Avenue. Enter the building through automated doors operated by a button on the left-hand side of the entrance. The theaters are accessible from the elevators inside the lobby.
Lincoln Center provides wheelchair seating in designated areas of the grounds. Choosing a wheelchair-accessible location means the attendee's seat will always be removed to accommodate a wheelchair. The attendee must make a note on the registration form that wheelchair assistance will be needed.
Metropolitan Opera House Accessible Seating: Accessible seating in the orchestra and dress circle. Specify accessible seating requests when registering to ensure accommodations. Please ask an usher for assistance upon arrival.
David H. Koch Theater (New York City Ballet) Accessible Seating: Available in the orchestra viewing room, first ring, and fourth ring. Specify wheelchair accessible seating requests when registering for the Conference.
David Geffen Hall Accessible Seating: Wheelchair accessible locations and designated aisle transfer seats are available throughout the theater. Specify wheelchair accessible seating when registering for the Conference to ensure the most suitable accommodations.
Alice Tully Hall Accessible Seating: Wheelchair locations and designated aisle seats are available.
Mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and canes may need to be stored during performances if they are obstructing the aisles. Ushers will mark and store mobility devices and return them to patrons at the conclusion of the Conference.
If requested, the armrest on the aisle may be removed to make it easier for guests with disabilities to access their seat. The armrest will be replaced once seated.
Please note: The attendee must notify an usher for assistance with transfer into the seat.
Wireless headsets to amplify sound are available in The Metropolitan Opera House at the coat check station on the South Concourse Level prior to the event. Devices will also be available at the lunch venues. A photo ID is required. Headsets do not work across buildings. These headsets are provided for audience members, and should the headset not function properly, please exchange it for another.
Service Dogs are always allowed in The Metropolitan Opera House. Please call (212) 799-3100 Ext. 2204 after 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays beginning at 10:00 a.m. if additional assistance is needed.
Metropolitan Opera House: Accessible women’s restrooms on concourse level, parterre, grand tier, and dress circle. Accessible men’s restrooms on parterre, grand tier, and dress circle.
David H. Koch Theater: Accessible on all levels
David Geffen Hall: Accessible men’s and women’s restrooms on plaza and orchestra levels. Accessible unisex restrooms on each tier.
Alice Tully Hall: Accessible restrooms may require use of elevators.
At the Conference
Check-in kiosks will open at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, November 15. Breakfast with the Baron Capital Investment Team is from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
We encourage attendees to arrive in time to get checked in, have breakfast, and find their seats before the Conference begins at 8:00 a.m. ET. For those joining the Baron Investment Team sessions, please be seated by 7:45 a.m. in David H. Koch Theater.
Seat assignments will be provided during check-in on Friday, November 15. Seat assignments will be shown on the printed badge received during check-in. All seating will be held until 9:00 a.m. ET, at which time the attendee's seat will be released.
Seat changes will not be permitted.
Will Call is not provided. Attendees will receive a badge and seat assignment during check in. Attendees cannot check in or pick up a badge for another attendee for security purposes. Baron Capital staff will be available during check-in for attendees needing assistance.
While there is no dress code, we recommend comfortable clothing appropriate for a professional setting. Attendees tend to dress more formal for the Conference, but this is optional.
Attendees may bring a coat and other personal items, such as a handbag or umbrella. Items larger than a backpack, including luggage, are not permitted. Please note that food and beverages are not permitted in The Metropolitan Opera House auditorium.
Complimentary coat check is located on the South Concourse level (Founder’s Hall), one level below the main entrance. Any large electronic devices will need to be checked, including laptops and cameras.
For security reasons, we cannot check large bags. We strongly advise attendees to arrange luggage storage prior to arrival.
The Baron Investment Conference will NOT be offering a luggage check at Lincoln Center. Attendees are not allowed to bring a bag larger than a backpack. All items are subject to search. We reserve the right to refuse entry if any bag is not within our guidelines.
Attendees may leave and re-enter in the morning, but there is no re-admittance after 12:50 p.m. ET. No exceptions.
Yes, to all of the above! Each lunch venue will have a selection of boxed lunches.
Light breakfast will also be provided in the morning at The Metropolitan Opera House, David H. Koch Theater, and David Geffen Hall before the morning sessions begin.
It's a surprise. In the past, we provided a range of high-profile speakers, comedians, artists, and Broadway acts. As in previous years, we will have three entertainment options during lunch. Attendees can choose a first and second choice during online registration. There will also be a surprise live performance at the close of the Conference.
The lunch venue may not be changed once it is selected during online registration. Please choose carefully. Attendees will need to go to the venue selected for entertainment to pick up their lunch. Attendees cannot change their lunch venue or entertainment option on the day of the Conference.
Yes! For The Metropolitan Opera House, inquiries should be made at the Chief Usher's Office on the day of the event. Thereafter, please contact the Security Office at (212) 799-3100, extension 2499. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. Voicemail messages will be returned the following business day. For all Lincoln Center locations, please call (212) 501-3100, Monday through Friday, after 8:30 p.m. the day after the item was lost.
2024 Baron Investment Conference T-shirts will be distributed at the end of the Conference. Additional Conference T-shirts will be available after the Conference, with a limit of two t-shirts per household, by calling 1-800-99-BARON. We also have a limited inventory of vintage T-shirts available. Please email [email protected] for all t-shirt orders and questions.
No, in compliance with New York City Department of Health Regulations, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the theater as well as on the Lincoln Center Plaza and in the parking garage.
Cell phones may only be used before each event and during intermissions. Please be courteous when checking cell phones.
While attendees are permitted to take photos prior to a performance or session, photos, video, and/or sound recording of any sessions or performances is prohibited as is the use of cell phones and any other electronic devices during these sessions or performances. Offenders may be ejected and liable for damages and other lawful remedies. Lights of any kind are prohibited inside the Metropolitan Opera House and Lincoln Center venues.
Medical staff will be in attendance during the Conference. In the case of a medical emergency, please notify an usher immediately. The exits indicated by a red light and the sign nearest the seat being occupied are the shortest routes to the street. In the event of an emergency, please walk — do not run — to the nearest exit.

Check-In

We have moved to a digital check in and ticketing platform. All attendees will scan the QR code found in their confirmation email at any of the check in kiosks inside David Geffen Hall lobby to receive their printed badge and seat assignment. Staff will be on site to assist attendees during the check in process. Tickets are not transferrable and will be scanned at all entry points.
Please bring a government issued photo ID and the email confirmation which includes the registration confirmation and QR code. Upon check in, attendees will receive a badge with seat assignment and lunch venue location.

The Lincoln Center parking garage is located underneath Lincoln Center. It is open to the public 24 hours a day.

- Amsterdam Avenue and West 64th Street for reserved spots and for reserved ADA accessible spots

BY RIDESHARE OR TAXI SERVICE:
Attendees can be picked-up/dropped-off on public streets according to traffic signage. Expect the highest wait times between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for ride sharing apps and taxi service pickup. Check all product types (Uber, Lyft, etc.) for the shortest ETA.
Note: Shuttle buses to/from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), or any other New York locations will not be provided.

Registration
Online registration opens on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. ET. We will send an email confirmation once registration is validated or rejected. If we have any questions, we will contact the registrant.
Shareholders who hold their accounts with a brokerage firm, must be able to provide an account statement during or post registration for account validation.
- Must be a shareholder of Baron Funds or a financial professional client of Baron Capital.
- Shareholders must have a minimum investment value of $40,000 in Baron Funds as of June 30, 2024, regardless of market fluctuations. Accounts with a minimum investment value of $80,000 may bring a spouse or other family member. New accounts and subsequent investments are eligible if proof is received by October 25, 2024.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Shareholders who hold their accounts with a brokerage firm, must be able to provide an account statement during or post registration for account validation. If we are unable to validate the eligibility requirements, we will not accept the registration and the individual will be ineligible to attend the Conference.
No. Seating is based on account value. We do not have the ability to group attendees. If registration is validated with a guest, the seats will be linked. Seating is preassigned based on the value of the shareholder's Baron Funds.
Seat assignments will be provided at check-in on the printed name badge on November 15, 2024. Seating will be held until 9:00 a.m. ET at which time the seat will be released. Seating requests or changes are not permitted.
Seating for the lunch performances is open seating. Attendees can sit where they like based on available seats.
Attendees can arrange to meet friends or family if assigned to the same lunch performance during breakfast or the built-in break.
Due to the increase in shareholders, registrations, and the allotted space at The Metropolitan Opera House, Preferred Seating is not offered. The Metropolitan Opera House is an intimate theater where all seats on all levels provide a view of the stage. Seating is based on account value.
Accounts with a minimum value of $80,000 as of June 30, 2024, may bring a spouse or family member. The eligible attendee's spouse or family member must be registered with the eligible account holder during the registration . Once the eligible attendee's registration is validated, the spouse or family member is also approved. If the eligible attendee cancels for any reason, the spouse or family member will also be cancelled.
Attendees must be 18 years of age or older. Absolutely no children are allowed. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone for any reason.
Account values based on market fluctuation will not impact eligibility after June 30, 2024. New accounts and subsequent investments are eligible if proof is received by October 25, 2024.

Brokerage firms do not allow us to access an individual's personal account information. The individual will need to retrieve and upload the account statement when prompted during online registration. If the account statement was not uploaded during online registration, please mail, or email the statement to complete the process at [email protected].

Lunchtime entertainment needs to be selected during registration. Attendees will select a first and second-choice performance as space is limited. The entertainment option may not be changed after completing registration. Please choose carefully.
If an attendee has registered a spouse or other family member, the Conference seats will be together. However, the attendee and spouse or other family member will be able to select the same or separate lunch entertainment choices during registration.
If an attendee is approved and unable to attend at any point, please notify us as soon as possible.

Registrants will receive an update on validation status within 7 business days of Baron Capital receiving registration and account statements. Registrants can always call 1-800-99-BARON, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET., for an update on registration status.
The deadline for registration is November 8, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. ET unless capacity is reached at an earlier date.
Things happen, we understand if someone is no longer able to attend. If registration is accepted, it is important that the individual call us to cancel. If the individual is registered with a spouse or family member, both parties will be cancelled unless the spouse or family member meets the eligibility requirements. If cancellation is not completed according to one of the two options listed below, the individual will be prohibited from registering for the Conference in future years.
