Eleena Melamed

Eleena Melamed is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Baron Capital. She joined the Firm in 2025. Previously, she was a Partner at The Carlyle Group, where she served as Head of Strategic Operations, Global Chief Operating Officer of Investor Relations, and Head of Client Strategy. Prior to that, she was a Product Specialist at KKR focused on retail semiliquid funds, insurance products, and strategic partnerships. She later became Head of Business Strategy for KKR’s client and partner business. Earlier in her career, Eleena worked at Bridgewater Associates as Chief of Staff to the Head of the Client Group and as an Associate Client Advisor for strategic partners. She began her career at Lehman Brothers, where she held various private equity roles and was retained post-bankruptcy to help restructure and sell Lehman’s alternatives portfolio. Eleena earned her BA in Political Science from Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude and serving as Valedictorian of her class. She is a former ballerina with the American Ballet Theatre.
